The memorial is located at The Choctaw County Courthouse. It was constructed in 1997, and consists of a sidewalk from the street to the courthouse entrance on the eastern side of the square.

The Military Memorial Walkway leads to the Choctaw County Courthouse. It was built to commemorate Choctaw County deads and others serving in war or peace.
