Veterans Memorial Ballpark in Monroeville, Alabama, spans approximately 48 acres and includes four softball fields, T-ball fields, soccer fields, playgrounds, two beach volleyball courts, and a pool. The park is named after the Veterans Memorial, which features a relic tank, helicopter, airplane, mortars, and a brick memorial, managed by the VFW and American Legion.
The park consists of 4 softball fields, 2 T-ball fields, minor league, major league and Babe Ruth fields, 2 beach volleyball courts, playground, two concession stands with restrooms and soccer fields.
Veterans Memorial Ballpark is located at the intersection of South Mount Pleasant Avenue and Veterans Avenue.
Kids Corner Playground is open from:
8 a.m. until 4 p.m. November – March
8 a.m. until 7 p.m. April – October.
The playground cannot be reserved, but birthday parties are permitted as long as the playground is open to the public.
Veterans Park pool opens Memorial Weekend and closes on Labor Day.
Pool Hours are:
Monday – Saturday 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday 1 – 5 p.m.
After school begins in August, the pool is open only on Saturday & Sunday.
