The Demopolis Community Archery Park offers targets for both adult and youth with a 14-foot elevated platform for bowhunters to simulate hunting conditions. It is located at the Demopolis Sportsplex in Marengo County and offers other recreational facilities like tennis, baseball, golf, fish pond, and a pavilion.
The Demopolis Community Archery Park was developed through a partnership between the Alabama Division of Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries, Demopolis Parks and Recreation Department, and the Archery Trade Association.
The park features adult and youth distance targets from 15-50 yards and 5-20 yards, respectively. A 14-foot high elevated platform provides bowhunters with an opportunity to simulate hunting conditions at targets from 10-40 yards.
The range is located beside the baseball complex within the Demopolis Sportsplex in Marengo County. Parking is available directly adjacent to the range. Other recreational facilities within the sportsplex include tennis, baseball, golf, fish pond, and a pavilion.
