Perry Lakes Park is a 600-acre nature preserve located in Perry County, Alabama. It features four lakes, several hiking trails, and a variety of flora and fauna. The park is popular for fishing, bird-watching, and camping, and offers visitors a peaceful retreat in a beautiful natural setting.
Perry Lakes Park provides a parking area (accommodating about 15 cars) from which you can access both Round Lake and the Cahaba River via The Nature Conservancy’s Barton’s Beach Preserve.
Perry Lakes Park is open during daylight hours only and the gate closes at sundown. Vehicular access to the Barton’s Beach Preserve is prohibited, so you will need to carry your boat 1/2 mile to the river via the Perry Lake Trail and Barton’s Beach Trail. Watch for Cahaba Blueway trail blade signs directing you to the lake and river accesses.
