Blackwell Bend Hunting Lodge is a hunting retreat located in Dallas County, Alabama. The lodge is situated on more than 2,000 acres of land and offers a variety of hunting opportunities, including deer, turkey, and quail hunting. In addition to hunting, the lodge also provides fishing, hiking, and wildlife watching activities. Guests can stay in one of the lodge's cabins or book a day hunt package. Blackwell Bend Hunting Lodge is located on the Alabama River in Selma Alabama with hardwoods, planted pines and 28 planted green fields. This is prime trophy deer hunting land, having been bow-hunted exclusively for more than 15 years. Combined with a strict Trophy Management Systemt in place, many 120-140 Class Deer are taken every year. During the 2014/2015 hunting season there were 2 deer taken that were Over 160.
Call early to make reservations at Blackwell Bend Hunting Lodge for the upcoming 2017 Whitetail Hunting season. Bow Hunters can book dates throughout the season, but Gun hunters need to book early since Blackwell Bend has a limit of only 5 gun hunters at one time.
All hunts can be scheduled for 3-day, 5-day or 7-days for groups of up to 5 people per hunt.
