In 1976, Briar Lodge planted the first food plots for deer and turkey hunting. Over the years and with the help of the family-owned land company, they have worked to manage the wildlife.
5,000 acres of land with more than 35 food plots with more added each season. All plots are at least 1/2 mile apart, and plots are never hunted more than once per week.
Briar Lodge offers quail, turkey, and hog hunts as well.
A small lodge is available for up to 8 guests. Groups are kept small to avoid over hunting. On 3-day hunts, they allow a doe and a buck to be taken, with bucks to be a minimum of 12 inches wide.
