Escambia County PFL – Leon Brooks Hines is a 184-acre lake located in the Conecuh National Forest near the Florida border, 23 miles east of Brewton off County 11. It offers fishing opportunities for largemouth bass, bluegill, redear sunfish, channel catfish, and crappie. The facilities include a boat ramp, fishing pier, restrooms, concessions, and pavilion. The lake is temporarily closed, and a reopening date will be announced later. Fishing licenses are required for anglers aged 16 or older, and a daily fishing permit is required for anglers aged 12 and older. Boat rental permits and launch permits for personal boats are also available. State Lakes Fishing Licenses can be purchased at the lake.
