Come celebrate the magic of stories and music at the 47th Annual Kathryn Tucker Windham Tale Tellin’ Festival! Founded in 1978 by Alabama’s beloved storyteller and author, this cherished event honors Windham’s legacy as the “Ghost Lady” and keeper of Southern folklore.

This year’s festival features talented storytellers and musicians from across the region, all gathered to share laughter, music, and tales that bring Selma’s spirit to life. Longtime friend and artist Charlie Lucas will emcee the evening and lead Tellin’ in the Schools, blending art and storytelling for all ages to enjoy.
